profitable prices for their products, bridging the gap between farmers
and the market and improving agricultural infrastructure, resources,
processing and marketing in the region of Northeast India.

Currently, it is under the administrative control of the Ministry of
Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) of the Government of India
and is headquartered on 9 Rajbari path, Ganeshguri, Guwahati.
To achieve its main goals, NERAMAC helps manufacturers sourcing and
purchase cash corps by intervening in the market and offering
reasonable prices. Processing units also help with the supply of raw
materials and the arrangement of packaging materials. NERAMAC has
several offices in the Northeast region, where many of the processed
and value-added products made in that region are sold directly.
OJECTIVE
The development and marketing of horticultural products inside and
outside the northeast region and the provision of the supplies, tools,
equipment, etc. necessary for the development of the horticultural and
agricultural industries, whether owned by the government or not,
statutory body, Company, cooperative or individual.
To undertake, establish, acquire, purchase, sell and manage the
projects for the development of horticultural products such as
establishment of nurseries and commercial orchards, seed stations etc.
and function as agent for the distribution of seeds, plants, processed
food and other such products connected with the development of
horticultural products.
Manage, promote, support and expedite the export of raw and finished
garden products and equipment and the import of raw and finished
horticultural produce and equipment to improve the company's business.
