Eligibility Criteria of PNRD Job in Assam


Educational Qualification: MBA in HR/PGDBM.

Experience: Candidate for the post should have minimum 3 years of experience in any public sector/ reputed private sector organization along with adequate knowledge of IT.

Language Skills: The candidate must be fluent in English and Hindi languages as they might have to communicate with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Besides the candidate should also be fluent in Assamese languages.

About PNRB Assam


Assam has a very strong historical background of local self-government. The villages of Assam have had powerful panchayat with different names or shapes since ancient times. Assam was one of the pioneer states in India that passed the Panchayat Law and established the Panchayat Raj in the state that passed the Assam Rural Panchayat Law in 1948. That law was amended and replaced by the Assam Panchayat Act of 1959, the Assam Panchayati Raj Act of 1972, the Assam Panchayati Raj Act of 1986, and finally the Assam Panchayat Act of 1994, incorporated the provisions of the 73rd Amendment Act, 1992 of the Constitution of India. The Assam Panchayat Act of 1994 was passed by the governor on April 22, 1994, and elections were held in October 1996, creating a three-tier Panchayat Raj system in the state at the village, middle and district levels.
