REMUNERATION
₹31,000/-p.m. + HRA (Consolidated) which will be raised to 35,000/- + HRA
per month after two years, subject to satisfactory academic
performance.
Eligibility Criteria of CPP–IPR Guwahati Central Govt Job Recruitment
Essential Qualification:
M. Sc. In one of the following subjects:
- Physics and Applied Physics with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the M. Sc. Final exam.
Other Requirement: Students should have Physics and Mathematics at the
under graduate level.
NOTE - NET, JEST and GATE qualified students can directly appear for the
interview at CPP-IPR.

The candidate will be required to do research work in experiments /
theory / modeling, assisting characterization studies, system
modifications, routine lab maintenance, and other project-related

Period of Engagement for This Job in Guwahati
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be appointed initially for a
period of 2 (Two) years and will be extended/promoted to SRF subject to
satisfactory performance.

Selection Process for CPP–IPR Guwahati Central Govt Job Vacancy
The short-listed candidates will be invited to appear for a
national-level written test that will be conducted at
CPP-IPR.
NOTE - In the event of number of applications being large, the
Institute will adopt short-listing criteria to restrict the number
of candidates to be called for written test/interview to a
reasonable number by one or more of the following methods in the
given sequence.
- Percentage of marks obtained in the M.Sc. examination.
- CSIR-UGCNET/GATE score.
