Eligibility Criteria for This Job in Assam
Educational Qualification: Engineering degree (BE/ B Tech) - Electrical/ Mechanical.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of working experience with cooperative / Private feed
mills or in similar area.
Salary: Gross CTC Rs.6.6 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with
qualification & experience).
MAIN PURPOSE: Ensure operations and maintenance of various utilities of the cattle feed plant and maintenance of cattle feed plant
equipment to maximize efficiency of operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leading a team of technicians for smooth operation and maintenance of utilities i.e. Intake system, hammer mill,
mixture, pelleting, Electrical substation, DG Sets, etc.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Ensure industrial safety norms.
4. To monitor sanitary and hygienic condition of all plant areas.
5. Preparations and verification of daily reports.
6. Monitoring and control of energy consumptions (fuel, electrical power).
7. Looking after daily maintenance, preventive maintenance of machines.
8. Inventory level maintenance for spare parts, consumables and raw materials with timely indenting of materials.
9. Check the contract manpower and inform to contractor arrange the labours based on production requirement.
10.Monitor the feed quality and raw Material quality & quantity on daily basis in coordination with QC lab.
11. Any other work assigned by Management or reporting officer.
OTHER JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Skills/ Attributes (Technical): Working knowledge on electrical installations and all cattle feed
plant process and packing equipment. Well versed with digital
and analog instrumentation.

qualification & experience).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Look after operation of machines.
2. Look after maintenance of machines (Breakdown & Preventive).
3. Look after the cleanliness of machine and plant area.
4. Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards, maintain a
clean, sanitary and safe work area.
5. Follow/maintain safety norms.
6. Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting to reporting officer.
7. Readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors / reporting officer.
9. Perform work duties in accordance with WAMUL’s standard policies and procedures.
OTHER JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Skills/ Attributes: (Technical)
a) Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably cattle feed
plant, dairy or food industry.
b) Technical Experience: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer
controlled equipment, PLC.
c) Must be able to work in a hot environment with moderate to high noise volume.
d) Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
e) Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
