In an effort to improve the quality of education and maintain a better Pupil Teacher Ratio (PTR) in schools, Government of Assam has decided to expand and handfe the routine process of transferring teachers from the offline to online.

As part of this process, the Education department launched an online portal called the Teacher Transfer Management System, also known as TTMS.

Teachers who submitted service profiles between November 22 and December 17, 2021 can submit reciprocal transfer requests online via the TTMS portal on February 16, 2022. The deadline for online applications is March 17, 2022.

About TTMS?


Through this portal, teachers of all categories of state/local schools from elementary school to junior high school can view the details of the service profile on the web portal https://hrmsassam.in to facilitate transfer and other services.

How to Submit Online Teacher Transfer Application?


Teachers from all categories of Assam State/Local Schools from Lower Primary (LP) to Senior Secondary School (SS) whom they wish to transfer to their desired locations can now apply online.

Types of Processes


There are two process in Teacher Transfer Management System (TTMS)

  1. Service Profile Details
  2. Mutual Transfer Application

1) Service Profile Details


For Online Transfer & Posting of Teacher, first of all, he/ she may now register and submit their service profile details in the TTMS portal within stipulated time period.

Only after submission of service profile details, they will be able to submit their option/s for transfer to individual preferred location/s. Here are the basic steps one needs to follow.

1) Scroll down, go to Important Web-links section .

2) Click on Submit Service Profile link .

3) The official TTMS Portal will be displayed.

4) Click on "Create Account" button .

5) Enter required details - Name, Email id, Gender, DOB, Mobile number and select a password and submit button .

6) Next again click on Submit Service Profile link and sign in to the TTMS portal using Login button.

7) After logging in you have to fill up your personal details as asked in the following 11 sections -

  • School details (Elementary/ Secondary)
  • Personal Details
  • Academic Qualification
  • Professional & Other Qualification
  • Service Details
  • Salary Accounts & Other Official Account Details
  • Service Records
  • Award Received
  • Promotion Details
  • Other Details and
  • Supporting Documents to upload

8) At the end, submit the form .

Documents to be uploaded in TTMS Portal


All teachers looking for transfer and posting to their desired locations have to mandatorily upload copy of the following documents.

  • TET Marksheet cum Certificate
  • D. El Ed. or B. Ed Mark sheet
  • HSSLC Mark sheet
  • Graduation Mark sheet
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • Appointment Letter

NOTE - For those teachers who had joined before 3rd September, 2001, uploading of TET Mark sheet cum Certificate and OD. El. Ed. or B. Ed Mark sheet is not mandatory.

Size of Documents


The maximum size of each of the supporting documents should not exceed 300KB.

Photograph & Signature


Teachers have to upload one clear passport size photograph and copy of scanned signature.

Maximum size of each should not exceed 50 KB.

2) Mutual Transfer Application


All teachers who already submitted their Service Profile Details may now enroll for online mutual transfer application. They may follow below mentioned steps.

1) Scroll down, go to Important Web-links section.

2) Click on Online Mutual Transfer Application link.

3) The official TTMS Portal will be displayed.

4) Log-in with your credentials.

5) There are two ways to Online Mutual Transfer -

  • Teachers with co-applicants can request for reciprocal transfer by sharing the teacher's Aadhar/PAN/Teacher code number and co-applicants must agree to reciprocal transfer.
  • Teachers do not having co-applicant can apply for Mutual transfer asking for some co-applicant in three different options in order of preference.
6) While applying for Mutual transfer the teacher category, medium of instruction and subject taught should match against an applicant (2nd option i.e. desired place) or co-applicant (Known teacher with whom mutual will be applied in consent).

7) In 1st option either Aadhar No. or Teacher ID or PAN No. is to be shared for a known co-applicant with whom a Teacher wants to apply for Mutual Transfer subject to the condition that above criteria should match and co-applicant has already applied.
 
8) Save and submit your application.
