About Combined Entrance Examination (CEE)
Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination
organised by Govt. of Assam for admission in to various B.Tech.
programme in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined
Entrance Examination (CEE), 2022 will be conducted by the Assam
Science and Technology University (ASTU).

Eligibility Criteria of Assam CEE Exam
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying
Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks
in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a
minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks
taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting
means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.
Age Limit: The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below
27 years of age as on deciding date.
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral
character.
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
Citizenship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a
Permanent resident of Assam.
Age Relaxation
Upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed to 22 years in case of
B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is
relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe
candidates.
Application Fee of Assam CEE
Candidates need to pay an Application Fee of
Rs.850/- (Seven hundred and fifty only) through
online, which facilitate payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/
Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not
accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. Fee
once paid, is not refundable.

2) Fill all the details (Both personal and
educational).
3) Upload necessary documents documents.
4) Pay the application fee as per your category.
5) Submit the application form for Assam CEE and save it.
Assam CEE Exam Important Dates
- Starting date of submission of online application: 14th March 2023
- Last date of submission of online application: 3rd April 2023
- Issue of admit cards online: 15 days before exam and up to the date of exam
- Date for CEE 2022 examination: 28th May 2023
- Examination timings: 11A.M – 2P.M
- Declaration of results: Within 10 days of conduct of examination

The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card
from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 15 days
before the exam and up to the date of examination by
entering his/her application form number/User name and
Password generated during submission of online
application.
