HS 1st Year Online Admission 2023 | Higher Secondary Admission

An official notification has been released by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) to notify that admissions are open for Assam Higher Secondary through Darpan Portal. The HS admission process is to be started from 29th May 2023.

Students who are interested and passed HSLC exam may apply by following the steps given in this article.

How to Apply for Assam HS 1st Year Admission?

Students who are interested, passed HSLC exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC can apply online by following the steps given below

1) Go to the Official HS 1st Year Online Admission Portal (Given Below)

2) On the portal, click on Register a new Account link.

3) Enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.

4) Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.

5) Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .

6) Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in again.

7) Select your desired course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.

8) At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference.

Documents to be uploaded

Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format within maximum size of 1 MB during online application form submission.

Recent Passport Size Photograph.
HSLC/ 10th Marksheet (Digital).
Caste Certificate (As applicable).
Disability Certificate (As applicable).
TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (As applicable).
Gap Certificate (As applicable).

How to Check AHSEC Admission Merit List?

Students who submitted their online applications for admission in to Higher Secondary 1st year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council can check their merit list by following the steps given below.

The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/ AHM examination. To check category-wise Assam HS Admission Merit List, you may follow below mentioned steps .

~~1) Go and click on HS 1st Year Merit List link.~~

~~2) On the Darpan portal, log in to your account as a student.~~

~~3) You can check the merit list there.~~

~~4) If you are shortlisted in the merit list, click on the Accept Admission Request link and accept your admission in the desired college/school.~~

Preparation of merit list: 10th to 12th June 2023
Date of Declaration of Merit List: 12th June 2023
