An official notification has been released by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). It's to notify that ASTU is going to conduct Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2023 for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme. JMEE Online Application will start from 22nd May
2023.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam JMEE Examination
Age Limit:
Age must be between 20 years to 26 years as on 1st July 2022.
Educational Qualification:
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
- A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
Final Year Students':
- Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply.
- Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that student gives an undertaking that he/she shall be able to provide final mark sheet/ certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission of the student shall automatically stand cancelled.
- Candidates seeking provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects upto 5th Semester in degree level. These students will have to produce all mark sheets up to 5th semester for verification during Counseling.
Application Fee for ASTU JMEE Exam
Candidates have to paid an application fee of
Rs.1500/- (One Thousand only) online using “State Bank
Collect” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/
Net Banking.
How to Apply for Assam JMEE?
Students who are interested and eligible for 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme in ASTU can apply online by following the steps given bellow
1) Go to the Official ASTU Assam JMEE Portal (Given Below)
2) On the portal, click on Register a new Account link.
3) Enter your personal and educational details as required by the
portal.
4) Pay your fee as per category then submit the form.

About Assam JMEE
Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by
the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into 1st
Semester Class of MCA Programme in the colleges of the State of Assam
including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College,
Jorhat and Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati
