An official notification has been released by Cotton University. It's to notify that Cotton University is
going to conduct Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGEE) 2023 for admission into 1st Semester MA, MSc. MCA, LLM, MLISc and other PG programmes
for the academic year 2023-2024. CPGEE Online Application will start from 5th June 2023.
Students who are interested in building their Assam career and eligible may
apply by using the online Post Graduation (PG) admission form fill up
portal launched by Cotton University.

Eligibility Criteria of Cotton University PG Admission
- The minimum eligibility condition for admission to Postgraduate Degree Programmes of Cotton University is a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours/ Major from a recognised university, and LLB degree for LLM.
- Honours/Major is not required for admission to MCA and PG Diploma programme.
- Candidates who have appeared/ appearing in UG Final Semester Examination 2023 are also eligible to apply.

About CPGEE
Students who want to get admitted in to these courses have to
appear in Cotton Post-Graduate Entrance Examination, 2022 (CPGEE
2022).
- Exam Name: Cotton Post-Graduate Entrance Examination, 2022 (CPGEE 2022).
- Exam Date: First week of August 2022 (Tentative).
- Exam Type: OMR Based Entrance Test.
- Question Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions.
- Negative Marking: For every correct answer 4 marks shall be awarded and for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
CPGEE Syllabus
Questions shall be based on the Cotton University UG syllabuses of
the concerned subjects except for subjects not being taught as
Honours/Core courses in this University. For those subjects not being
taught as Honours/Core courses in Cotton University the entrance
examinations shall be based on corresponding standard syllabuses
reputed Universities of India under UGC.
